The temples of Balaji and Tekdi Ganpati over here are really popular among the Hindu devotees who come in large numbers over here.
Another sightseeing attraction present here is the Diksha Bhoomi stupa, which is an important location where Buddhist ceremonies are carried on Ashok Vijaya Dashmi day every year. It was during the Bhonsle dynasty Maharaja Baugh and Zoo were established here and at present the garden has been converted into a botanical garden housing different varieties of animals and plants.
