Prior to My TravelWebs, if one wanted to share about their travels online, one might bring it up on a social media website or post a picture. But there hasn’t been anything that really visually represented where they’ve been and where they are going. My TravelWebs creates visual lines on a Google Earth Map where once you click on the View Trip Details from the Travel Pin, you instantly see the person’s Travel Scrapbook and can comment on all of their pictures and trip. My TravelWebs also allows one to post future trips so that when they are in a different city or country, they can alert their friends ahead of time, increasing the chance to meet up.
This application was created by a group of developers following the queues of its Creator, keeping in mind everyone goes somewhere sometimes and that everyone stays in-touch in some way. With social media groups allowing one to post what they’ve been doing, why not allow for something that shows where they are going or have been?
