When you see an orchestra perform a lot of credit goes for the great music goes to a person who does not play a musical instrument at all. Surely the other musicians should be angry that they do all the playing and the audience stands to applaud a person who doesn't play any instrument at all. But no accomplished musician will feel this way because they know how important the coordination is for all the musicians to perform well together. And similarly there are components that help co-ordinate action that takes place in the car, they appear to be not doing much at all but in fact play an important role in the functioning of the car.

Take for example exhaust headers. This is the component that gathers the exhaust gases from the several combustion cylinders and combines their flow into a single pipe that goes to the catalytic converter. A simple task one may feel that has nothing to excel in it. And yet getting a new better performing exhaust header can improve the performance of your car. So what is this better performance about? ...
... Well these gases come out in a rush from the engine cylinders and they can need to be sent on their way quickly. Otherwise there is build up of back pressure which prevents the engine from completing the next combustion cycle efficiently. And the gases from the different cylinders come out at different times. And the exhaust header needs to take advantage of this and let the gases out sequentially. But since the gases travel different distances from the cylinder head to the pipe where they all join they can still arrive from different cylinders at the same time at the pipe which is not good. A quality exhaust header will ensure that they arrive in a quick sequence, by varying the distance that they travel and the back pressure is minimized. Even the flow through the exhaust header will be more streamlined to reduce the back pressure further.

You can check out exhaust headers conveniently by going online. At the time you can also check out other products such as cat back exhausts that help make your car's engine perform more efficiently. You can see these latest products at www.ilovebodykits.com.
