Capital of the rising sun, Tokyo (formally Tokyo Metropolis), with the largest population in the country and the most crowded in the metropolitan area in the world, is one of the largest cities in the world and considered the most expensive city for a period of ten years.

As the largest population center in Japan and the location of the country's largest broadcasters and studios, Tokyo is frequently the setting for many Japanese movies, television shows, animated series (anime), and comic books (manga). In the kaiju (monster movie) genre, landmarks of Tokyo are routinely destroyed by giant monsters such as Godzilla. Some Hollywood directors have turned to Tokyo as a filming location for movies set in Tokyo. All this is part of the attraction for tourists and people that live in Tokyo.

Tokyo offers a variety of activities and different attractions that captures the eye tourists and all the people that live there. Many festivals and events take place in the city every year. ... the Sanno Festival at Shrine, and the Sanja Festival at Asakusa Shrine. The Kanda Matsuri in Tokyo is held every two years in May. The festival features a parade with elaborately decorated floats and thousands of people. Annually on the last Saturday of July, an enormous fireworks display is held over the Sumida River and it attracts over 1 million viewers.

Once cherry blossoms, or sakura, bloom in spring, many residents gather in parks such as Ueno Park, Inokashira Park, and the Shinjuku Gyöen National Gardens. These are pleases where people love to get together. People gather in large at the Shinjuku Gyöen National Gardens to witness the cherry blossoms wich is alluring and soothing to eyes.

Japanese people conserve their art and respect their nature, very typical of their culture. Museums in Tokyo reflect their art and culture. These museums such as the Tokyo national museum and the Tokyo metropolitan museum show a huge collection of Japanese traditional and modern art.

Japanese people believe in progress, moving towards the future, and they never forget about their past, which they mix in a marvelous way to bring some of the past to this modern and fast world.

Even though Tokyo is the most expensive city in the world, we can still find affordable lodgings and cheap hotels. These low budget hotels are within the reach of everybody's pocket. Many hotels offer affordable packages to the convenience of all of us. With all the commodities this friendly budget hotels, offer everything that you could think of such as air-conditioned rooms with health clubs to keep you fit, spa's to pamper you with luscious therapies and treatments, swimming pools, bath tubs, Jacuzzi and sports club as well.

But one thing is for sure in Tokyo you have to do some research to find cheap hotels in this expensive city because of the nature of the city finding low budget hotels is not an easy task especially if you are traveling half way around the globe to get there.
