Tibet is not without its share of unrest, and for the longest time it has withheld the criticism of being highly unpopular or rather out of reach for this very reason. But, all that has become a thing of the past. Today, Tibet brings with itself hope, not just for its people but also for the country. Tibet’s story is one of hard earned peace. Its lack of being popular is now changing for the better. More and more people have realized the rich natural bounty that Tibet is bestowed with. It is now seen as being a seat of mesmerizing locales.

The land of fantasy has also changed considerably for its people. A place which had never even seen a railway engine, now boasts of having the ‘highest railway line’ in the world – ‘The Trans-Tibetan Railway’ also known as the ‘Qinghai – Tibet Railway’. It connects Tibet to China, and can surely be called as a means of progress for the Tibetans.

The people have accepted the new railway line with open arms, and are reveling in its marvels. From creating hundreds of job opportunities to connecting Tibet to the world, the railway line has opened Tibet’s doors ...
... to abundant glory. With the traveling time reduced considerably and travelling becoming affordable, the rail has transformed the lives of the simple Tibetan people. Even in terms of the tourism, Tibet has seen a considerable increase in the number of visitors every year. The number of visitors in 2010 was 6.82 million, and this data is estimated to reach 20 million by 2015. The tourism revenue has also increased from 6.93 billion in 2010 to approximately 7.6 billion for 2011. The good times have really started rolling on for the Tibetans, and they truly deserve it too!

Let us hope that Tibet is able to sustain through and emerge as one of the most popular destinations of our time. Visit Tibet and be ready to be surprised by its grandeur. For more information about Tibet Tours please visit http://www.nomadier.com/ .
