Lively Green Point Properties
Green Point in South Africa is actually a neighborhood of Cape Town in SA. It is located in the central-west side of the business area. Furthermore, it is the residential site where business people live. This area is opened to the gay and lesbian community in Cape Town. Since it is a modern area, many apartments and blocks have been build in the last few years here.
The Somerset Road is the main transportation route and it has attracted around it many restaurants, boutiques and cafés but also night clubs. One important attraction here it is the Cape Town Stadium which was constructed in the Green Point for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Green Point properties have gained another dimension and perception since this event took place. Prices have gone up and entertainment has really evolved in the last decade.
Infrastructure has also been developed with a connection to the Western Boulevard and the Granger Bay Boulevard. Not only infrastructure has succeeded to evolve but the construction of the Stadium has led to the conception of an impressive park around it with golf courses, an urban park and many other facilities ...
... for the locals and all its visitors.
Consequently, now it is the moment for a great investment in a Green Point property. The suburb is inhabited by young business professionals, by contemporary young artists and models which all have an active life and are involved in their community. The potential of this region has increased over the years and it is still following this trend.
The newly built stadium was known during its building as being the Green Point Stadium, later on receiving the name of Cape Town Stadium, in a more official manner. It is situated between the Signal Hill and the Atlantic Ocean, close to the cities’ centre. It has a capacity of 64,100 places and it is connected to the waterfront by the newly built Granger Bay Boulevard.
The impressive site was built by a South Africa constructor which used the terrain of an older stadium. After the 2010 FIFA World Cup the capacity of the stadium was reduced in order to accommodate all kinds of events such as rugby games, music concerts and major events: banquets, medical conferences and trainings as well as corporate hospitalities.
The local Band and the Vuvuzela performance made the world remember these games. It was a unique moment and the Vuvuzelas’ really triggered the TVs technicians to maintain a balance between the commentators’’ words and the background unique performance.
Overall, Green Point properties are as lively as the atmosphere in the entire Green Point suburb of Cape Town. The pubs, the clubs and the cabaret restaurants attract people especially at various seasons and weekends. Retro parties are famous in these parts and the atmosphere goes wild – people can enjoy it since there are in South Africa. It is the place to be wild and have fun.
Many restaurants with exquisite food keep the entertainment going during the week and the days. Culture and family activities are also the strong points to consider when purchasing a Green Point property.
