Now the fact is that, previously these unclaimed property departments were never serious about the abandoned property. Many states never took extra efforts to advertise the unclaimed property cases. These departments were just putting generic ads in a corner on backend page of a newspaper.

In some state departments, the officials were just sending letters to respected owners of the unclaimed property even after the owner leaves the place forever. Now year on year due this inactivity of these treasury departments, the state government has been using this property to point out that how much is the load.
