Shirdi is a holy town located in Ahmednagar District in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
Shirdi is a major pilgrimage of India, which is home to the great Indian Saint Sai Baba. The town of Shirdi is constantly frequented by a huge crowd of tourists every year. Although we all know that the most popular attractions located in Shirdi is the temple dedicated to Sai Baba but apart from the Sai Baba temple there are many other places that are dedicated to other Hindu gods like Shani and Hanuman. Transportation is never a problem in Shirdi as it is a popular religious destination and most of the inner transport structure is managed by the Maharashtra State Transport Corporation. Shirdi is well-connected from different parts of India majorly through bus services that ply on the state highways. Travellers who come here often prefer to stay in budgeted lodges that offer a home like comfort to the travellers.
