The Stone Roses Are Here Again!!!
Are you ready to rock and roll…!!! Well! Here goes The Stone Roses for you… I could feel that vibes within you to break free with their rhythm. Well you don’t need to get bogged down any more as they are going to perform and rock out a party animal out of your shell.
For those who are unaware of this alternative rock band, for them The Stone Roses was founded in the year 1983, right into the heart of Manchester. Tuning sweet tunes since 28 years, this effervescent band has the most successful line up staring vocalist Ian Brown, jazzing on the sweet tunes in guitar is John Squire, bring out the soul to play the four string in base is Gary "Mani" Mounfield and banging on the drums is Alan "Reni" Wren.
The band released their debut album in the year 1989 by the same name that came as a break through success for the band. In 1991, they joined hands with Geffen Records and released the second album by the name Second Coming. So when you can hear ‘where angels play’ and can tune into ‘the hardest thing in the world’ or get a jolt ‘made of stone’ or ‘shoot you down’; remember the cheers, applause ...
... and lauding by the crowds.
But soon after delivering such world class performance, Reni left the band in 1995 and Robbie Maddix was recruited as the new drummer. A melodious key board specialist, Nigel Ippinson was also taken in to balance the lead. But a bike accident of John Squire also gave a severe blow to the band when John left the band in 1996.
As rumoured, a secret come back tour was planned by The Stone Roses in 1995, but it was cancelled as the sudden surprise got leaked by the music press. Later the band suffered another major blow when their engagement in the Glastonbury Festival was cancelled in June 1995. Since then, music enthusiasts and the die-hard fans of The Stone Roses have been missing their ‘Love Spreads’. But no more, as just after a few days they will be reuniting again and performing live in their home town right in the Heaton Park of Manchester.
