By chance, if you're not in the know, already, Sudoku Village happens to be a community forum that conducts an internet-based ‘Sudoku Puzzle Of The Day‘ Contest. The Contest began 04/18/2006, and has so far been conducted each day. Players shall have attained 18 at least to particpate in it. Participation is free of charge, and it carries a $5 Cash Award, payable to the successful participant via PayPal. The one who answers the Sudoku perfectly in less than the quickest REASONABLE time will be given the prize. Any contestant is eligible to secure the prize at most, once weekly.

Each Sudoku should be tried online (and should not be cracked otherwise than online and reproduced onto the Sudoku in the contest page). Cracking a puzzle in a fair time required to crack it will be reckoned as a sign that the participant might have deployed automated aids to crack the Sudoku and those participants may be disqualified. Players who cheat may be disqualified - the complete rules will explain how.
