Kasauli is a small town located in the Solan district in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The Best time to visit this beautiful region of Himachal Pradesh would be from March to November, which is believed to be the peak tourist season, wherein numerous clubs of the region start offering adventure activities like trekking, hiking, etc to make your trip more interesting. Although tourist can visit Kasauli nearly all around the year but then during the off tourist seasaon although the hotels would be open but there is not much to enjoy in terms of adventure activities, but peace a rare luxury in cities can be found aplenty.
Sitting at an altitude of 1927 m, the region is a tad difficult to get in directly, with the buses and taxis being the only direct option. Other than that the nearest airport from Kasauli is in Shimla located merely 35 kms away, while the nearest rail head is located in Kalka just 40 kms away. Several government and private operated buses ply tourists to and from this region to various regions sitting in close proximity of Kasauli like Chandigarh and Delhi.

The only thing to keep in mind before landing in Kasauli is to have your hotel rooms booked in advance otherwise you’ll be left at the mercy of several home owners demanding exorbitant amount for basic lodging facilities.
