Many employers today are finding that they need qualified labourers quickly. For this reason many are turning to temping agencies to provide them with short term or long term labourers. Casual employment agencies offer labourers the opportunity to work for a variety of employers without being committed to any specific one for a period of time.

Using temping agencies can offer benefits to both the employer and the employee. For the employer, they can bring in a qualified labour force for short term jobs without the commitment of adding an addition employee to their roster. For the labourers, a short term position could be exactly what they are searching for. A variety of reasons exist for this type of requirement.

For the employer, casual employment agencies offer them the opportunity to have pre-screened, qualified employees quickly and easily. While the cost to hire is a bit more per hour, they do not need to do any of the screening or interviewing on their own. This is left up to the temping agencies to do.

For the labourers, they may only need a short term position while they are in between jobs ...
... or possibly for the summer months while in between courses when attending college. There are a variety of reasons people choose to work for a casual employment agency rather than finding a full time, permanent position on their own.

Temping agencies offer the ability to find a part time or full time position that is not a permanent position but offers the labourers a full time paycheque for a period of time. College students are very good candidates for this type of position in casual employment as they may have a semester off and wish to earn some money during that time.

On occasion one may find that they need temping agencies to help them locate a job. This is especially true during times when the job market is very slow and there are only a few jobs to be had. Casual employment agencies will screen the employees and select which will be the best candidates for the position available.

Casual employment also offers labourers will the chance to make a decision about their career path. Using temping agencies will help one to determine if the work that they are performing is something that will work for them on a more permanent basis. Using temping agencies can help the employees decide if the required duties will be something they can perform long term.

Casual employment agencies are finding that as the job market continues to be somewhat small, temping agencies are becoming more and more common. Employers want to bring in people to complete jobs and then have the ability to let them go without having to perform all of the administrative tasks that come along with full time employees.
