According to the Children's Defense Fund (CDF), the most recent statistics (2009) show that there are 2,222 high school students who drop out of school every day. Each day, 5 students commit suicide, 1,210 babies are born from unwanted pregnancies, and 4,435 students are in detention for different kinds of crimes.
