High-Tech German company presents the first 56” Quad-HD autostereoscopic 3D Display

Vancouver, 18 July 2011 - The Black Forest Company TRIDELITY presents from August 9 to 11 at the SIGGRAPH 2011 in Vancouver an innovative Quad-HD 3D monitor that can display three-dimensional autostereoscopic (glasses-free) graphics content in real time.

At this year's SIGGRAPH, TRIDELITY and TECHVIZ are presenting two innovative High-Tech-Solutions, which will lift the human-computer-interaction to a totally new level. On the one hand, the visitors will have the possibility to test a VR-Solution that is rigged with the most modern tracking system allowing 3D models to be moved with an interactive control module that fits into the hands. The movements of the object are recognized by the tracking system and are then represented by the 3-D model in real time.
Furthermore, these movements can be visualized on the new MV5600va-QHD autostereoscopic display which is able to show 4K of resolution in 3D without glasses. The 3D monitor receives the volume information trough TRIDELITYs "TT-Drivers", that offer visualization of 3D content without any conversion of data. The driver supports the Open Graphics Library (OpenGL) and is therefore compatible with virtually any existing professional 3D-application.
