It seems that people won’t really appreciate some flyers or brochures because they may just add to the clutter which they would have to clean along with the rest of the garbage in their house. Business cards may be of use in this situation, because they are small and unobtrusive, and there are fewer chances that they will be in the way enough that they get thrown in the trash.
