With so many brands and so many different items how do police departments choose their law enforcement equipment and with over 600 dealers nationwide which police equipment supply company with they purchase from. The larger players such as Galls or Quartermaster carry many brands but many departments and officers find they can't get the individual attention or speak to someone knowledgeable enough to direct them. Since law enforcement equipment has tens of thousands of products in so many categories which include handcuffs, body armor, batons, holsters, duty gear, uniforms, footwear, pepper spray, base layer clothing, badges, and accessories, it takes a very experienced and well educated person to handle the various questions to properly inform and re-educate it's clients. Many smaller dealers fill this void where you can get the attention of either an owner directly or top management versus larger companies whose front line often consists of inadequately informed customer service representatives. Obviously there are exceptions but for consistency, many of the smaller dealers offer a wealth of knowledge.

... supply companies such as Police Equipment Depot based out of Nashville, TN and INTAPOL Industries based out of Jersey City N.J. are two dealers which offer direct attention from it's owners. Both of these companies owners have over 20 and 40 years respectively in the law enforcement equipment industry. Besides getting the individual attention, both also offer incredible values and stock many of the top brands and items of law enforcement equipment which include Under Armour, Benchmade, Wiley X, Tact Squad, Elbeco, Blauer, Fechheimer, Flying Cross, Blackhawk, 5.11 Tactical, Rocky shoes and boots, Bates footwear, Gerber knives, Smith & Wesson handcuffs, Peerless handcuffs, Uncle Mike's duty gear, Neese rainwear, Maxs Pro Police helmets, Shoei motorcycle gear, Setcom motorcycle communications, and many more. These companies also offer on-site fittings as well as internet private stores for repeat customers.

Police equipment supply is no easy task because it's clients enter harm's way on a daily basis and must be able to deliver to provide it's clients with the necessary tools and protection. Many companies do not stock merchandise especially considering today's economic environment but it should be known that both Police Equipment Depot and INTAPOL Industries offer many of the most popular law enforcement equipment with immediate shipment.
