White Tea is becoming a buzz in the tea world. It is not a new tea and has actually been around for hundreds of years.

It was orignially reserved for Royalty and is the true King of Teas.

It's healing properties and antioxidants are up to 10 times greater than Green Tea and yet it comes from the same plant. The difference is the time of harvest and processing.

White tea is the very earliest of growth and leaves and buds are harvested while the leaves are very new and still have 'white hairs' on the leaves. Hence the name white tea. Once brewed the tea is actually a very pale yellow colour and very mellow in flavour.

White tea has become a popular ingredient in the cosmetic industry due to the anti-aging qualities that the tea produces. You can make your own White Tea skin tonic by simply brewing a very strong pot of tea and using it as you would skin toner.

White tea is the least processed of all teas and is not rolled or processed in any way. This is what gives the tea it's properties. It is steemed and dried.

White tea is limited supply every year as it is the very earliest of ...
... growths. The most prized crops of this tea can be sold for huge amounts of money.

It has been said that the difference between green tea and white tea is as follows. Green tea has the ability to stop disease cells from replicating and allows the body to heal. White tea has the power to destroy disease cells and irradicate disease.

Whether or not these claims are true, white tea is a great anioxidant and can promote health and wellness along with a balanced diet and excercise.
