Losar is a Tibetan festival beautifully adopted by the Darjeeling people and celebrated every year with utmost respect and merriment. Buddha Jayanti is celebrated by everyone and mainly by the Buddhist monks in the month of April every year. And Saraswati puja, Durga Puja, Teez etc are Hindu festivals that are a part of Darjeeling festivals as much. Thus, festivals of Darjeeling represent the blend of global culture at its best.
