Do you or have you ever worked in food service? Restaurants, Deli’s, Cafes, or any other place that serves food? If you have I am sure that you have personal knowledge how busy these places stay. Not just in the dining areas but all through the business. The kitchen, the cook area, the prep area all stays busy most of the time. To work in these places you have to be able to hustle and bustle. There is a product that has made food service a lot easier and allows you to get a lot more done in quicker periods. Much of the equipment in the restaurant rests on Castors.

Okay, you are thinking, Castors? What are we talking about? You know, the wheels mounted on the bottom of items everywhere for ease of movement. They are on the bottom of a lot of different items. They are on equipment all over the world in all kinds of businesses and homes. These wheels make the equipment move all over the place. Backwards, forewords and sideways. These wheels are able to move in all directions and they move with ease even if they are attached to heavy equipment.

... in the kitchens. They are on things like ovens, stoves, grills. This makes it easy to move the equipment where you want them to be. This also makes it easy to move them so you can clean behind them because we all know how important it is to keep a food service area clean.

These Castors are also found on shelves in walk-ins like freezers or stock rooms. This is also because you can move the shelves anywhere you need to. Like for example you may have a shelf that has all of the stuff needed to stock an area. You can move the shelf out and move it back in when you are finished.

The wheels are used on carts, tables and things like salad bars in the dining are also. This helps the waiters/waitresses bring large orders to tables without making many trips. It allows busboys to gather up all dirty dishes and move them back at one time. It allows the person stocking stuff like salad bars or buffet tables without having to carry one item at a time. These wheels make it more convenient to get the job done in a shorter time.

So as you see Castors are used a lot in the world of food service. They can keep up with the demand of a busy restaurant. They make it easier for employees to get their jobs done in a quicker time. There is no doubt about it, castor wheels have benefited food service a great deal.
