Out of all the possible handmade handbags out there, one style that is quite fashionable is Thai handmade bags. Although using Thai silk for your homemade handbag is very popular there are many other fabrics to choose from when creating your handbag. Handbags can be made out of hemp, nylon, burlap, cotton, bamboo or water hyacinth, as well. There are even some exotic materials that can be used when making handmade handbags, which are popular in Asian countries like Thailand. A few of these exotic materials are python, crocodile, sting ray, and ostrich.
With all of these different types of fabrics all sorts of fashionistas will be clamoring for a handmade handbag. No matter if it's a woman who likes to go the theatre, take romantic walks on the beach, and enjoy fine dining at the hottest restaurants or a woman who likes to go backpacking in the mountains, cycling to work, and growing her own garden all kinds of women looking for a good handbag to fit their needs will find one that has been handmade.
On the lighter side of fabrics is the water hyacinth, which is a very delicate fabric that has been made into a fabric from the hyacinth flower. This flower fabric is very soft and has a very similar texture to bamboo. Water hyacinth is not usually made into larger items. A handmade bag made out of the hyacinth is really only sturdy enough to hold a few items.
On the other end of the spectrum is hemp, which is one of the absolutely toughest and strongest fabrics available to make a handbag out of. Hemp has a similar texture to that of burlap. Hemp is made out of the plant that marijuana is made out of but is legal in its fabric form. In everyday use of a handmade hemp handbag or even using it in harsh conditions with very heavy items in it, the material will not break, tear, or wear out.
Handmade Thai handbags are also normally adorned with all sorts of additions. Semi-precious stones, sequins and beads are just a few of the items available to be sewn on to the handbags.
So go ahead and venture over the world of handmade handbags. There is so much variety out there that no one could possibly be disappointed with their perfect handbag, specially designed to each individual's personality, style and needs.
