Headlights are a very conspicuous and eye catching part of a vehicle. Since their early years they have undergone many changes. They are no longer a plain pair of two lights. They are now attractively designed to function as a decorative item. They are much brighter now thanks to the introduction of brighter sources of light like halogen lights, LED lights, or HID (High Intensity Discharge) lights. These brighter lights are a great help as the cars now move much faster and these lights illuminate a longer stretch of road. It is, however, to be kept in view that primarily headlights are a safety feature. You cannot move without them at night or when the visibility is poor for any reason. They enable the driver to avoid hazards and other traffic to maintain safety on the road. There are reflectors and lenses in the headlight assembly which can be manipulated by the driver to cast the beam of light in the right areas. The whole unit is encased in a housing which is attractively designed to grab attention.

Another highly visible element of a vehicle adjacent to headlights ...
... is billet grille. Location of both of them at the front end of the vehicle makes them so visible. Billet grilles are also designed in attractive styles. So many designs are available in the market that by properly choosing them you can customize the looks of your vehicle. Billet grilles are generally made of aluminum, or stainless steel, or ABS plastic. Grilles made of all these materials are durable and strong, though all of them are not equally strong. Stainless steel grilles are the strongest and the ABS plastic grilles are comparatively less strong but sufficiently strong for their purpose. Aluminum grilles are light and ABS plastic grilles are comparatively cheaper. You can have Bolt Over Grilles or Replacement Grilles. The former can be mounted on the top of the existing grille while for installing the latter type of grille the existing grille has to be removed.

You can select headlights and billet grilles on internet, as that will be easier and less time consuming than making a round of automobile stores. You can know more about headlights at www.ilovebodykits.com.
