Weekly Study

Study on a weekly basis have appointed times in which you can study Hebrew, try and maintain the same routine, times this will help your brain to become accustomed to your schedule and therefore it will be ready to perform when you need it, your brian is like a dog, train it and it will obey. Schedule at least three sessions every week, each sessions been no less than one hour no more than two, your brain can only retain so much information in the session. When I was learning Hebrew I did one hour lesson plans but it is really importance that you have a plan for your lesson before you start, ensure your lessons are planned to times when your brian is still switched on, an hour before bed is not a good time to study

Take notes and review.

To get the most out of your weekly sessions it is best to review your lesson notes, (you should always take notes for your sessions these can be simple bullet points to help you remember or they can be detailed) it is really up to you and how you learn. These notes should be reviewed in-between your last and next lesson, you don't need to spend much time reviewing ...
... your notes, little and often is the best, whenever you have time take them out for 15 mins and have a look over them, you could do this on a coffee break or for me I always had a look over them when stuck in traffic. Reviewing your notes in such a way helps not only to jog your memory it's also good retention as your learning becomes routed in your declarative memory.
