Used automatic cars are becoming increasingly more popular

Today, more than ever, driving automatics has become increasingly more popular. Traditionally, driving a manual car was more popular than driving an automatic car. This has been for a number of reasons. Firstly automatic cars give less precise control over gear selection. With a manual car, you decide what gear you drive in. Automatic cars used to consume more fuel and were traditionally more expensive to buy. However used automatic car transmissions are becoming increasingly more sophisticated and economical in the respect that their prices have come down as they are gaining in popularity. Also used automatic cars are using less petrol as the technology has improved. In fact the evolution of the automatic transmission is happening at such a pace that used automatic cars are likely to soon become the norm.
