Specially Designed Konica Minolta Magicolor 1600w Toner For Small Busy Work

The new Konica Minolta magicolor 1600w toner is specially designed for small busy work environments. This small business printer offers ultimate image quality, thanks to its High impact and planet-friendly Simitri HD toner with Biomass, which consumes less power than conventional toner by fusing at lower temperatures. We can effectively save on color costs in the economy mode by effectively reducing the amount of toner to print images while text remains perfectly sharp. With a decent print speed of 20-24pages per minute with both mono and color modes.
Print high quality color and B&W documents affordable with the Konica Minolta magicolor 1600W. This small compact, lightweight printer fits into any office environment making it the best home office printer for the money. The laser printer outputs up to 35,000 prints monthly on a variety of paper sizes at speeds up to 20 ppm B&W and 5 ppm color. For such a low-cost printer, its color output is surprisingly good. You can reduce these figures by using high-yield cartridges, but this doesn’t make a huge difference, with 2.2p for mono and 10.9p for color. Initial ...
... costs will be even higher as the printer ships with 2,000-page mono and 1,000-page color cartridges, while the starter belt unit lasts for only 50,000 pages
As with other low-cost color lasers, how you react to the 1600W's speed will depend a lot on what you compare it with and how much you print in color versus black and white. The 1600W uses a four-pass color engine, which means the paper needs four passes for color printing, with one pass for each toner color. Konica Minolta rates it at 20 pages per minute (ppm) for monochrome but only 5 ppm for color. This is a lot faster than almost any ink jet (there are a very few exceptions), but it's slow for a color laser. Still, the 1600W is faster than its most direct competition.
Photo quality is good enough for company newsletters and the like, and more than good enough for printing recognizable photos from Web pages, but they're well short of even near-true photo quality. The Remote Panel Utility display makes it easy to check supply levels, printer and document status.
As a personal color laser, the Konica Minolta magicolor 1600W is an impressive beast. It's not quite as small as its most direct competition, but it's small enough; what's more, it's cheaper and faster, and it offers a higher input c apacity and better-quality text. The combination makes it a runaway winner as the new Editors' Choice for personal color laser printer.
Ready to go out of the box, and connecting easily to your computer via a High Speed USB 2.0 port, the 1600W is designed to work with a variety of Windows operating systems including, Vista, XP, Server 2000 and 2003.
