Even on an uneven road you can have a smooth ride, thanks to two devices, the coil spring and the shock absorber. One provides the spring action and the other the damping action. Coil over combines the two in one package. In a coil over the coil spring circles the shock absorber and the both are packed in one unit. To get the best results the coil over has to be properly mounted. One end of the shock is mounted on the axle or suspension and the other on the chassis. There are coilovers in which the ride height as well as stiffness can be adjusted. For some technical reasons a combination of springs is used instead of one long spring. Coilovers have now become a popular aftermarket product.

Cold air intake is another after market product which is popular and improves the performance of a car. It does not cost much and is easy to install. It brings in cold atmospheric air to the engine to help the combustion process. Full combustion can take place only if plenty of air is available. What is more important is that it brings ...
... in cold air which is much better. The air inside the engine becomes hot during the combustion. The hot air is light that means there is less of air by weight inside the engine. Cold air is dense which is beneficial for the combustion process. By using a cold air intake you get more power from the engine for the same quantity of fuel, and thus you cut down on fuel expenses. Less fuel consumption also means less of pollution.

Many different types of coilovers are available in the market. Similarly cold air intake systems come in different styles and are made of either metal, or plastic, or rubber, or synthetic materials like fiberglass, or carbon fiber.
