Sometimes the choice of lighting in a room can be overlooked, but this is particularly important for a child's bedroom. Their room is the part of the house where they can have their input into its style and lighting is one of the finishing touches that they can use to personalise a room.



There is a wide range of lights for kids available. Forget plain light shades; they are available in bright colours and patterns and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The light shade can be in keeping with the theme of the room. For example if your child is fascinated by the sky and they have their walls papered in moons and stars, a pendant light shade covered in clouds might be a nice addition to their room.
