As the economy grows, so are dreams. For achieving dreams you need a job. And like first love, it’s important to start our career with a good job. Fresher’s job is the first step towards gaining that experience that takes us to our dreams…
As a fresher we need to focus on certain points while choosing a job:

1.Have to understand that all we have in the experience is just a theoretical knowledge. So gaining first-hand experience is the top priority. It’s better to take an opportunity than to sit idle at home.

2.Understand the type of industry that suits or interests you. Search for and take opportunities in that industry. Otherwise you will lose precious time if you realise after joining that this job is not meant for you.

3.In spite of all booming industries and booming employment, salaries in fresher’s jobare bound to be comparatively less. With experience this falls into place.

4.Try to have a strong theoretical base. Youngsters during their professional courses tend to forget this. 2 year of serious study will help you to enjoy rest of your life. Friendship and fraandship can wait.

... hate sales and marketing. But must realise that first-hand experience in marketing is most vital and valuable for every fresher. Even if you are to be a financial consultant, savvy marketing shall come handy. Marketing help you to understand the external environment better and you can then excel in your specialisation. And isn’t it that we are all marketing ourselves all the time.

6.Campus recruitments are best way to get your first job. You can also contact the company for whom you have worked a interns or summer trainees to place you. They will be eager to recruit you as you know them well then and they also know you well. Important thing is that you have utilised those training period well!

7.Work is worship and dignity for work is vital. Hard work can never substitute smart work. You have to realise that there will surely come a time in your life when you have to slot and slot hard. So its intelligent we slot hard when we are young and our body has high endurance level. You must realise that as time passes our responsibilities towards our family is bound to increase. So its’ better to be battle hardy right at the start.

8.Till we are in education phase we are taken care of by our guardians and when we step into the ‘job’ world we are all upon ourselves. It’s time to get mature and act mature. Keep track on the industry you are working in, make contacts, keep in touch with them and try to make your first boss your Godfather ( surely if he impresses you). As the Boss will grow so shall you.

9.Time is the essence of success. Eat, merry and enjoy, watch movies, but never waste your time. Its indeed precious. Learn every minute and from everybody without any airs. You are destined to do a particular work and so are others.
