Microsoft Office Access is a relational database management system which combines the relational Microsoft Jet Database Engine with a graphical user interface and software development tools. This is a suite where data are stored in the form of tables in MDB and ACCDB files. The storing of data in MS Access is done in unique pattern depending on the Access Jet Database Engine. The database of MS Access can also import or link directly to stored in other applications and databases.

The data stored in the tables of MS Access need to be secured to avoid any kind of corruption or damage. Any minor fault or corruption to the tables may lead to corrupt the entire database which may further affect the whole system. There are several issues which may corrupt the database of MS Access. Some of the common reasons which are greatly responsible for the failure of MS Access are summarized below:

Database is suspect/corrupted because of interrupted write operation
This kind of error may occur when the system is manually turned off without shutting down the Windows due to sudden power cut or certain human action. It affects ...
... the entire database of MS Access and may lead to corrupting or even damaging the database.

Faulty networking hardware

The hardware of the system may also affect the database. E.g. if the system where the database resides on is linked with a long chain of hardware peripherals and the database remains opened then the situation may arise which can crash the MS Access causing fault or corruption in the database.

Opening and saving the .mdb file in another program

The database gets corrupted if there exists an .mdb file which is opened and then saved in a different program.

Mismatched versions of the jet database engine

Use of different versions of the Jet Database Engine can also corrupt the database which may further damage the MS Access. As different versions of Jet Engine gives different ways to write the database so can cause corruption in the database while running them in the data environment which further demands the need of data recovery.

The Access Repair tool is a result oriented and smart tool which is capable of resolving corruption and damage in the MS Access database. This is an eminent utility which efficiently recovers the lost or inaccessible data from the damaged MDB or ACCDB files. Unlike other database recovery tools, this tool retrieves all records carefully including the table data and queries.

The author is a master of technology reviewing with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in reviewing the performance of several data recovery software. He has recommended various access repair tools and mechanisms.
