Copper- Important Facts
One important positive factor about copper is that it is a good conductor of electricity and heat. The value and usefulness of copper was realized very early and the rising use of copper in the primitive times marked the transformation of the society. The discovery of the use of copper in the electrical and telecommunications domain further propelled its usage. Copper wirings today, are important to power our electric and electronic appliances.

Copper is unique and is best for safe electrical use. Wiring products like- copper wire cables, braided connectors, flat copper wire, tinsel wire, etc. are indispensible for producing electricity.

Though aluminium has similar properties, aluminium wire also not as safe as copper wire and hence cannot be used in its place. Copper also plays a vital role in making decorative pieces for adorning homes and gardens. Copper today is also utilized in making pipelines, utensils, chemical sales, electrical wirings and so on.

Copper-Rising Prices
Though copper can be recycled, it is important to know that it is not renewable. The price ...
... of copper metal is now seen to be rising- this subsequently leads to the rise in price of the corresponding copper products- copper wire cables, braided connectors, flat copper wire, tinsel wire, etc.

The rise in the rate of copper is majorly because of the depleting copper resource on the earth’s crust. Since centuries copper has served as the most widely utilized metals in the world.

Coping up with the Rising Demand of Copper
The usage of copper is rising in a great pace. In fact the consumption of copper has tripled in only five years. This apparently has lead to the rapid rise in the price of copper. If the demand of copper rises in this manner, it would someday become impossible to cope up with the same. Though the records reveal that we have utilized only 12% of copper available on the earth- the figure would rise rapidly soon.

One of the most important advantages of using copper is that it can be recycled. That is copper products like copper wire cables, braided connectors, flat copper wire, tinsel wire, etc. after usage can be sold as scrap to be recycled. Recycling of copper has worked great in reducing wastage, handling disposal issues and savings costs for mining new copper. In fact United States has exercised this very well and a bigpercentage of copper utilized here is obtained through recycling.
