Enjoy The Last Of The Summer With A Last Minute Holiday Deal
As summer draws to a close, why not squeeze every last drop out of the holiday season with a last minute holiday deal. Those who have the time for a week abroad can make the most of the summer season before it comes to a close, and even those who are restricted to a weekend break time wise should indulge in one last summer trip,
Alternatively, holidays taken just after the end of the summer season can be a great choice. Often offering fantastic value for money, you should be able to find an out of season holiday deal at a fraction of the in-season cost.
Those who prefer their holiday destinations to be quiet and relaxing may actually prefer this option to a crowded holiday in the middle of the summer season. The bars and restaurants will be quieter, as will the beach and the pool.
There’s no need to worry about it being too cold for that bikini as the weather at most typical European holiday destinations such as Spain, the Canary Isles and Greece should still be enjoying warm, sunny weather well into autumn and beyond.
Whatever your budget you’ll be able ...
... to find the right holiday deal for you at www.d3als.co.uk. This website, which pulls together all best daily deals and offers, has great holiday deals, is a great resource which saves you trawling the internet for the best prices.
Here are some great destinations for a holiday to extend your summer, whether you choose to take a break in Sept, October or beyond:
The Canary Islands
The Canary Islands of Lanzarote, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria all enjoy a lovely hot and summer climate all the year round. Crammed with holiday makers during the summer season, the pace on the Canary Isles slows down when September hits, which makes it easier to appreciate their stunning natural beauty.
Each island has it’s own unique draw. Tenerife is famous for it’s mountainous backdrop, Mount Teide, and enjoys a remarkable landscape of cliffs, forests, bays, heathlands and beaches. Gran Canaria has a vibrant capital city, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, as well as some amazing natural charms. In fact, the western half of the island is a biosphere reserve, with 33 unspoilt, protected areas for nature lovers to enjoy.
Fuerteventura is also a biosphere reserve and boasts some beautiful beaches and charming, tiny fishing villages. And Lanzarote boasts a marine reserve, a national park and 12 natural protected areas.
As you can gather, the Canary Islands are more than just beautiful beaches and deep, blue seas. They are areas of natural importance that have a wealth of unspoilt delights for visitors to explore.
The Greek Islands
The Greek islands of Crete and Rhodes are the best bet for good out of season weather, with May to November generally being warm and sunny. Rain is seen occasionally out of winter, but if it does come it’s not a disaster and can actually be quite refreshing.
Crete is the largest of the Greek islands and offers many gems to be discovered outside of the summer season. As well as a wealth of beautiful beaches, Crete also has some spectacular Greek ruins, a port and a vibrant capital city, Iraklio.
Rhodes is an equally beautiful destination with a stunning and infinitely interesting ‘old town’ to enjoy getting lost in. The island is lush and green, with charming white-washed traditional houses as well as cosmopolitan cities.
The South of France
The Cote d’Azur, which includes Nice, Cannes and St Tropez, is a great place to head for some end of summer sun. The French Riviera basks in 300 days of sunshine a year, so it’s safe to say that you’re pretty much guaranteed great weather when you head here for a break away.
While the area is known for being a playground to the rich and famous, it is possible to do the Cote d’Azur on a budget. In fact, with many budget airlines flying to Nice in just over two hours, it can be a cheap and convenient destination.
Whichever sunny destination takes your fancy, you can cut costs by finding a great holiday deal at www.d3als.co.uk. Remember, the summer isn’t over yet, and even when the leaves begin to fall and the night begin to draw in in the UK, there are many easy to reach destinations that offer sunshine all the year around. So don’t pack away that bikini just yet!
