In an automobile engine energy is generated by a chemical process which is commonly known as combustion. In the process the fuel combines with the oxygen component of the atmospheric air and produces heat. The heat energy is converted into mechanical energy by other machinery in the vehicle. The chemical process results in formation of some gases which are of no use and have to be expelled. The exhaust system expels these gases in the atmosphere. Some components of these gases are very harmful and can not be released in the atmosphere as such. The catalytic converter neutralizes these harmful gases. While escaping these gases exert some back pressure on the engine. The back pressure is detrimental for the combustion process and consequently the engine generates lesser power than its potential. To avoid that, the gases pass through a cat back exhaust system after emerging from the catalytic converter. The system allows the gases to pass freely while exerting much reduced back pressure. That improves the functioning of the engine and you get more power for the same quantity of fuel. The cat back exhaust system thus improves the ...

As stated above the heat energy is converted into the mechanical energy which propels the car. The car has however to move in the direction where you want it to go. This movement is controlled by the steering system of the vehicle. At one end of the system is the steering wheel which is operated by the driver. By manipulating this wheel the driver is able to move the vehicle in the desired direction. Steering wheel is an important element to maintain safety on the road. By properly manipulating it the driver can avoid any obstacles or hazards on his way. You can replace the steering wheel if you find some deficiency in its functioning.

You can select cat back exhaust systems and steering wheels on internet if you do not feel like visiting automobile ancillary stores. You can get all the relevant information on a number of websites and can select the best deal. You can know more about cat back exhaust system at www.ilovebodykits.com.
