Xerox Phaser 8560 Mfp

Xerox clearly has an innovative streak and the foresight to move into a new area of the market when they chose to manufacturer solid ink printers. The technology has won over a large section of both the inkjet and laser users due to ease of use and beautiful print quality. The decision to create a multi-function machine using solid ink is a clever idea and offers small to medium sized businesses or large workgroups in an organisation lots of scope to use it. The Xerox Phaser 8560 MFP has the ability to print, scan, copy and fax, whilst offering fantastic print quality.
Consumables on this printer are unusual if you are used to changing standard laser or ink cartridges. No more messy ink cartridges to handle or unwieldy toners to recycle. Xerox Phaser 8560 ink comes in handy little wax blocks which are amazingly easy to load into the machine. Each block is shaped specifically to fit the channel they fill and at this stage they are hard, so no mess on your hands or clothes! Xerox solid ink sticks come in standard print colours of cyan (108R00723), magenta (108R00724), yellow (108R00725) and black (108R00726). A ...
... note of caution about running this machine; a high volume of ink will be consumed if the machine is turned off at the end of each day with the printer completing a cleaning cycle when it is switched off and on, dumping considerable ink into the waste bin.
Setting up your new machine onto your printer network is absurdly easy. The printer has an automated process which works on both PC and Mac, guiding you through the necessary options to get this machine up and running within a very short period of time. The printer comes as standard with 10/100Base TX Ethernet or USB 2.0 but can be upgraded to a wireless model via an adapter.
If you need your printing in a hurry, the Xerox Phaser 8560 MFP can do this for you with first page out within 6 seconds for both mono and colour and then consistently printing at 30 pages per minute for both black and white and colour, using a print resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. Standard paper capacity depends on which model you opt for, although all the base models can have additional trays added to them to take the capacity from 625 sheets to 1675 sheets.
Kitted out with 512MB of memory, upgradable to 1GB and a PowerPC 600MHz, this machine can handle large volumes of printing with ease and has a recommended duty cycle of 85,000 pages. Double-sided printing comes bundled as standard. Overall this machine is fast, with easy to use set-up process and consumables.
