During the years people have come up with numerous different fitness myths. While some of them are true, the others are not more than a ‘fairytale’.

Perform sit-ups to get rid of a fat abdome.n

This is one of the false exercise myths. In case you have a fat abdomen, you have to perform those exercises that engage a large number of muscle groups because the more muscles you engage, the more calories you burn. Also remember to have a healthy nutrition when considering fitness myths.

No running for the knees

This one of the exercise myths is true and false at the same time. Nonetheless some of the professionals say that we should be more concerned regarding the speeding up of the aging process and of the production of cortisol, which has been shown to increase the fat around the tummy. In case you like running, you shouldn’t mind this particular one of the fitness myths, but you should mix it with different exercises.

You can’t improve saggy breasts at the gym

Again this is one of the ...
... false exercise myths. To get rid of saggy boobs there is usually need for 3 months. Women have to strengthen the postural muscles to pull the breasts up.

Exercise and eat whatever you want

Another one of the false fitness myths… Although at the beginning it seems to be true that you can eat what you want, you will realize that this doesn’t last for long. You should avoid consuming bad fats - like trans-fats, but have good fats. The biggest damage caused by this type of exercise myths is done by consuming white flour and processed sugar.

No pain, no gain

Also one of the fitness myths that have no real basis... It is true that people need to perform hard work in order to see the results that they have been looking for, but pain should never get in the equation. You don’t have to train hard, only smart.

Horse riding makes your buttocks get bigger

False again. Even more, through horse riding your legs and buttocks will get in shape, because they will constantly be in a squat position.

The muscles will become fat if you don’t exercise

Another false example of the exercise myths. The muscles can never turn into fat. If you stop training, the mass of muscle will get reduced and so your metabolism will slow down and make it possible for more fat to accumulate on your body.
