The first kind has the shortest life; the second one is good with no buzzing or other problems. LED is the latest kind and have a great life with minimum power consumption. LED under cabinet lighting also has shown a lot of craze recently, and these can be wireless too. Fluorescent are mostly kept in a linear shape so that they can be concealed under the rim of the cabinet easily and also in various shades of colours.
