Going green is a big deal these days. I am going to give you the tools to go green in your financial life. That’s right your financial life can be green too. Many people think that going green is expensive. There is more to going green than hybrid cars, solar panels, wind turbines, and expensive eco-friendly household items. I am not talking about saving the planet the here, not that saving the planet is not important. You are just more important. Your financial life is more important because if you are not financial sound how will you be able to save the planet. However, there are many ways to help protect the planet that will actually save you money without spending anything. Go emotionally green.

These negative beliefs can include, but are not limited to: 1) I’m a failure 2) I’m not good enough 3) I did not grow up with money 4) I did not get an education 5) I have too many responsibilities 6) I feel trapped

These beliefs can limit your ability to experience your life and see all the opportunities and “breaks” before you. I want you to see these opportunities and be able to benefit from them. Take an emotional inventory. What is really causing your problems? Here are some statements and see which ones ring true for you. 1) I have not really made the authentic choice to be fully alive for the rest of my life. 2) I need to be right. 3) I have unresolved matters and issues. 4) My personal values are not clear or are not fully expressed. 5) I am addicted or attached to substances, people, or behaviors. 6) I am currently living a lie. 7) I really do not have anything better to do than what I am doing now. 8) I am not really engaged in the game of life. 9) I have financial problems or major concerns. 10) I am missing key, empowering relationships in my life. 11) My needs are not being met. 12) My life is primarily about me. 13) I do not really understand how life works so well for certain other people. 14) I have not experienced very much in life yet. 15) I am under a lot of stress. Everyone will relate to different statements with a different intensity. The importance is to recognize which ring the most true and begin clean up emotionally.
