Many people complain that the system is a little stupid. As the system can just distinguish the ID number, not themselves, children can use their parents’ ID numbers to play the game. This phenomenon is hard to eradicate. Besides, account sale becomes an industry. Many adult players have registered for many times for accounts. They sell these accounts and the price is decided by the level of class. Account sale is common on internet. In this case, children can buy these accounts and play games themselves. Some games don’t need downloading and register. Players can play directly. Though these games are not that interesting, they can also lead to game addiction.
In order to decrease the addiction of online games, many more measures are to be taken. Firstly, the ‘real name confirmation system’ needs to be developed. It is supposed that computer can identify players by taking pictures for them. Anyway, the system is not a good way. Anti-addiction should start from changing players’ thoughts. If u forbid them to play games too much, they are more eager to play. It is not good for their growth. The key to prevent them from addicted to games is to change players’ thoughts. Parents and teachers should make them know that game addiction does harm to players. They can play games sometimes, but not much. Moderate playing of games helps relax them, but excessive playing will lead to addiction. When they know the advantages and disadvantages of playing games, they will play less themselves.
