There are many safety features in automobiles. Headlights and tail lights are very visible safety features which also serve as decorative items. Besides, there is also a third brake light to provide additional safety. Tail light assembly has brake lights which shine when the driver intends to stop the vehicle. Their purpose is to warn the driver of the vehicle that may be following it. Third brake light is a light mounted on the top at the rear. It gives a clearly visible signal which immediately attracts attention because of its location and immediately conveys the message in an emphatic way. It ensures that nothing is left to chance if the driver somehow misses to read the signal conveyed by the normal brake lights. LED lights are now used as sources of light in the third brake lights because they are very bright and therefore can be seen from a long distance. A wide range of third brake lights are available in the market. Third brake lights meant for all types of vehicles like trucks, SUVs, cars, cabs etc. can be found there.

Tail ...
... lights are now a cluster of lights at the rear end of a car. The primary function of the main pair of tail lights, red in color, is to indicate the presence of the vehicle on the road to the driver of the vehicle that may be following it. There are turning lights which are yellow in color that indicate whether the vehicle will be turning left or right. There are lights which shine when the driver wants to proceed in the reverse gear. All such information is very helpful in maintaining safety on the road. Nowadays tail lights also function as a decorative feature and occupy a larger area on the rear. They do not cost much and you can replace them whenever you feel like giving a new look and feel to your car.

Instead of looking for third brake lights and tail lights in automobile ancillary stores you can look for them on internet which would be easier. Many websites will give you all the required information. You can know more about third brake lights at www.ilovebodykits.com.
