At Blizzcon 2011, there is a Q&A section on designers. In this section, players are able to ask questions on wow, such as wow xpan. At this Blizzcon, designers of wow answered such questions.
Q: how do u combine Draenei and Blood Elf and change them into monk?
A: the races of Draenei and Blood Elf have the monk class. We can do it well.
Q: as the next xpan comes, the purple outfit getting from Firelands will be changed into green outfit on the first day?
A: green outfit is the newly-designed purple outfit. The question is if we do not update the gears, players will be cheated in upgrading. Usually players change gears on the second or third map to make sure the game is challenging. We hope we are able to record tempo of each player in the future. In this case, at the beginning of game, the tempo is not the same for each player.
Q: is this decided by guild leader?
A: yes. We will repair if things go wrong.

Q: how to heal monks? Is there grid mana bars or something else when choosing the gift of healing?
A: yes. Healing of monks doesn’t pay attention to goals, but distance. In another mechanism, statue is put in raids; statue is used to heal players in melee. We are trying to design new ways.

Q: will players be granted new skills at the lvl of 86, 88, and 90? If possible, what are the new skills of wizard?
A: we have added many new skills to talent tree. We discussed to give players a new skill at 87. We are sure 3 skills won’t be got in the process of upgrading. We don’t know yet the new skills of wizard. Once players got 5-8 skills in upgrading. Some classes get more than one skill.
Q: is new talent ‘new’?
A: most talents offer choices of skills, not dmg. We will balance the talents to make the choice harder.
