Use Special Kid Toys To Develop Language Learning

According to research, it is the best time to give children language learning course between 3-6 years, what’s worse, it is difficult to compensate education on this topic if we neglect them at that time. Is there useful way to develop kids’ language ability? Yes, special toys can be used to get this purpose. As you know, toys are the intimate partners when kids are young, father and mother can take full advantage of toys to develop children's language ability. Three types of toys which can develop kids’ language are showed below. I hope it will be useful for parents when buying toys.

Theme toys
Theme toys are toys that imitate the objects in daily life such as dolls, houses, furniture, cooking utensils, all modes of transport, hospital equipment and so on. In the role-playing games, the children use language to show the main plot of the game and content, which can promote the child's language development. Take play house for example, the mother acted by kids sing songs to make child to sleep while feed her child. Every plot and change in each game is shown by the mother’s language and action.

Performance toys are toys that used in performing the story by children. Common performance toys include headgear, masks, puppets and so on, all of which can provide stage property for kids to play. In the performance show, vivid and graceful words can develop the children’s verbal ability in particular. In addition, parents can also inspire children to write and perform the story by themselves, which will help to improve children's oral expression skills.

Structure toys
Structure toys usually refer to building blocks with large scale, medium scale and small scale. Children can construct many kinds of buildings with these toys. For example, many kids like to use building blocks to construct house, parks and other buildings. In construction activities, parents can develop children’s language. Before building, you can ask kids to describe this building’s structure. When finishing building, you can also ask kids to tell the feeling and methods in process of building. By this way, it can not only improve children's oral expression skills, but also promote the skill on playing structure game.

In addition to introduce these three types, what I suggest is that parents can make full use of waste materials and natural objects to product toys for kids instead of buying toys. If conditions allow, you can ask kids to make toys together with you.
