In the past, cycling gear selection for the average rider was limited. Cyclists were restricted to choosing from the same colors and overall designs. Today's cyclist looks for designs and colors that reflect their own unique styles and at the same time maintains their comfort and safety level when riding. Some sunglasses have polarized lenses that help reduce glare and come in a wide range of lens colors which one can pick from based on his or her particular needs. Other accessories include bicycle computers to track time, distance, speed and heart rate. Cyclists can also get some additional warmth in the cold month by wearing arm and leg warmers.
