Selling a home is tricky, as appealing to people’s individual tastes is something achieved more by luck than design. However, presenting a home to its best potential can be achieved relatively simply.

The best way to get started is to ask all the local estate agents valuing the property, to make a list of what they think needs to be done to make the house sell. Such a request is beneficial on a couple of levels.

Firstly, it helps determine who the confident agents are. Those that baulk at such a request could be showing signs of their lack of confidence or experience. In either case, such lapses are not likely to do a property any favours in the competitive market place.
