Sharing Video Content With Google+1 Button
Google Plus +1 buttons have recently joined the mini Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and LinkedIn etc. icons on web postings and blogs across the Internet.
But what happens when someone clicks +1? How is the "vote" used?
Essentially it impacts the search results of their friends by giving them the ability to share directly with their Google Plus Circles - all from the +1 button.
By clicking the Google Plus +1 button they will share directly on their Stream, with whichever of their Circles they choose.

So, why is this of interest to Video Publishers and Marketers?
Quite simply, it's because all YouTube videos have the +1 sharing button below them.
Videos spread because of social sharing activity, and now the +1 button makes that even easier.
It's therefore recommended that you implement the button on your blog or website.

It's worth opening an account, alongside your other social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.
An advantage of Google Plus is that you can group your connections into Circles. This means you can have a circle for friends, another for work colleagues, another for clients etc. Then you can choose what you share with whom. You may want to share your corporate videos with clients, but you'd prefer your favourite "jackass" clips only went to your friends.
In conclusion, the Google Plus +1 button not only makes it easier for you to share your videos with others, it also makes it easier for other people to share your videos with their connections. And because you can decide who gets the share and who doesn't, your videos are far more likely to reach the right people.
