Emergency car lights need to be of exceptional quality to provide reliable service especially during adversity or emergencies. This is the reason why so much attention to detail is required when these lights are manufactured. One of the most important aspects of emergency lights used for cars and other vehicles used for crisis situations is a long life. This is why LEDs are used in emergency lights as they are known to provide about 100,000 hours in most cases. Moreover, unlike incandescent or halogen lights, LEDs are not known to fail abruptly. Instead they get dimmer over a period of time giving ample warning to change the lights.

Emergency car lights need to come with built in flash patterns which is very important to enhance their visibility. The number of built in flash patterns varies from 3 to 4 in mini light bars to as many as 24 in some full-fledged light bars. Some emergency lights have excellent flash patterns too including single, double, triple and quad flash and sequential and random flashes. The presence of good flash patterns helps in attracting attention of everyone. Moreover, advanced ...
... flash patterns can flash in excess of hundred times every minute. You can also go for combination patterns where emergency lights flash at a great rate for a few seconds followed by slow consistent flashing.

Another important feature that you should look for in Emergency car lights is adjustability when it comes to mounting the lights on the vehicle. High quality emergency lights come with a wide variety of mounting options. There are powerful magnets for beacons that can easily be installed on the roofs of vehicles. There are stainless steel mounting straps which are sometimes used for reliability and stability. In some cases swivel brackets and suction cups are also provided. Simple screw and bolt mounting options are also available for some emergency lights. In fact, there are mounting options where you don’t need to drill holes in the vehicle. Similarly, rubber caps are provided as well to ensure that no damages or scratches are made on the vehicle due to the mounting equipment.

Emergency car lights can be highly useful if they come with a few other features that are provided by highly reputed and professional manufacturers. The emergency lights can really benefit from additional accessories as well. There are optical elements like polycarbonate lenses, chrome reflectors and diagonal mirrors all of which can help enhance the quality of the light. Additional flexibility is also provided through the use of slide in lenses. You need to look for emergency lights where the beam angle as well as beam temperature can be controlled easily. Controlling the beam angle allows you to narrow the beam and focus on a particular point or get a wide angle beam that would help in enhancing the coverage area of the beam. Shielded power cables and interconnect harness are also provided to ensure that lights mounted at different points on the vehicle flash in sync with each other.
