Being involved in a motor vehicle or slip fall accident can be one of the most traumatizing experiences you and loved ones ever have to go through. Every summer, teenagers fresh out of school get their driving licenses, and cruise around with their friends. However, the summer being a time of partying and a lot of fun, new and experienced drivers tend to let their guard down while on the road. Today, we will be looking at a few alarming statistics and how to keep your teenage child safe next summer.

As teenagers, being involved in juvenile delinquency during the summer time, seems like a must. In the United States, the drinking age is 21, yet the amount of teens drinking and driving is much larger then Canada, where the legal drinking age is 19. In order to cut down on the number of male teenage deaths, insurance companies have made premiums higher for men then women when buying car insurance. The belief is, the higher premiums, will make the male drivers more cautious when driving.
