Holiday Cottages Morayshire

Holiday Cottages Morayshire
I recommend considering holiday cottages Morayshire if you are looking
for a relaxing holiday in stunning scenery. Located 3-4 hours drive
north from Glasgow, the local Morayshire area is a dream come true for
those looking for a holiday cottage to rent.
Many people looking for holiday cottages in Morayshire consider the
Inverness area the most popular but if you look beyond this area you
will also have many other options as Moray holiday cottages are
located in many smaller areas such as Findhorn, Elgin and Nairn.
Anyone renting a Moray holiday cottage will appreciate the stunning
countryside and natural wildlife right on your doorstep throughout
Morayshire as within a 50 mile radius you can visit Cairngorm national
park, Osprey bird watching centre and even check out the Dolphins
which are to be found near to Lossiemouth.
Even the most remote Moray holiday cottages will be close to small
Moray villages where you can find shopping, leisure and other
recreational facilities. The town of Elgin offers ...
... many high street
stores and a few restaurants so you have the option of eating out if
you fancy a break from cooking in your Moray holiday cottage !
Morayshire also offers some stunning nature walks and I highly
recommend visiting Findhorn Bay which is a quaint fishing village
where you can watch the fantastic sunset along the bay. Also located
in the Findhorn area is the famous Findhorn foundation which is a
small eco village , home to residential owners and also available for
short term caravan hire. This eco village has a café, theatre and a
unique atmosphere.
If you are looking for sports facilities the Moray leisure centre has
a swimming pool and also offers skating facilities and many of the
other small towns such as Forres also offer swimming facilities. If
you visit Inverness you will also be able to watch the local football
team ( Inverness Caledonian Thistle ) who play in the Scottish premier
league and compete against top teams such as Celtic, Rangers and
Aberdeen.
Car hire is recommend if you are considering a holiday cottage in
Morayshire but there is a good bus and train service from major
destinations such as Inverness and Aviemore so you could leave the car
at home if you are planning just to stay close to your holiday cottage
or even be more adventurous and hire a bike.
