Reggie’s Roast Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is known for being the best gourmet coffee around. The company brings the best coffee beans from Jamaica to the United States where their coffee roasters are located in Linden, New Jersey. Reggie Chungloy grew up in Jamaica and wanted to bring the best coffee beans from Jamaican Blue Mountains to where he resides now, the United States. This was the beginning of Reggie’s Roast. Like everything else, coffee has evolved since then. Now, people prefer the convenience of a single cup of coffee made quickly rather then brewing a whole pot. Because of this notion, the Keurig has replaced the coffee pot. The idea of the Keurig shows so many positives but are there any drawbacks?

There are some definite negatives about the Keurig, the first being it is not environmentally friendly. The truth is Keurigs are not what we consider a “green” idea. The reason is because of the K-Cups. The K-cups are not recyclable nor are they compostable. Anything that is single use disposable is not ideal for the environment and millions of K-Cups are thrown away daily. Another negative about the ...
... Keurig is the cost. K-Cup prices are comparable with coffee-shop prices. Typically a person will save 200 dollars a year buying bagged coffee compared to K-Cups. Reggie’s Roast Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is offering their premium coffee to Keurig owners while maintaining its green agenda and keeping costs to consumers low. How is this possible?

Recently, Reggie’s Roast has been offering their version of the K-Cup. The company has teamed with EkoBrew in order to sell a reusable K-Cup that allows Keurig owners to enjoy their gourmet coffee. Now, customers can choose their favorite type of Reggie’s Roast Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, such as the Peaberry Coffee for their Keurig. All a customer needs to do is buy Reggie’s Blue Mountain coffee and fill the K-Cup with their favorite blend. The reusable K-Cup uses a wire mesh filter, a K-Cup shell, and 100% BPA free plastic making it incredibly environmentally friendly and convenient. The reusable cups are designed and used just like the regular K-Cup the only difference being they are considered “green”. Since the cups are reusable it is a one-time purchase and will save consumers money. Reggie’s Roast Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is a believer in the environmentally friendly movement and is taking action to support it.
