Android App Development: A Look Into The Future Gadgets
There’s a lot served hot in Android application development’s plate. With non-stop addition of powerful devices, Android’s growth seems inexorable. By now, all of us know that Samsung Galaxy S II has been selling like hotcakes over the world. Samsung sold five million units of Galaxy S II across the world, while potential market such as U.S. and others are still awaiting its launch. However, since Galaxy S II is priced heftily, Samsung has planned to launch its cheaper version, Galaxy R.
Based on Android Honeycomb 2.3 operating system, Galaxy R is a device similar to Galaxy S II with some changes in the hardware. It’s a remarkable phone with crystal clear LCD display and 1GHZ dual core processor. Other specifications such as 5.0 MP camera, 720p video recording, and 8 GB of built-in storage makes Galaxy R a better choice than any other phone in its range. Officially, there is no news on its launch and availability. However, we know that it will fall in the range of LG Optimus 2X with similar processing but better looks and features. Galaxy R also offers the Social Hub, Games Hub, Music Hub, and ...
... Reader Hub.
In terms of Android app development, Google+ is a clear winner. If we look at the Google+ app over an Android device, it appears as Google+ was always a mobile service, from the beginning. This Android application is well-designed, simple, and straight-forward to use. The home screen offers icons for most important parts of the service such as Stream, Huddle, Photos, and Circles. However, it misses one important feature that is video calling. Developers developing Android applications should consider it in Google’s next version.
HTC Puccini, the arrival of a new tablet in the town is round the corner. HTC Puccini smacked the FCC last week. Now it is ready to bring a revolutionary change in the way people view tablets. It’s a ten inch tablet with advanced features. One of the websites revealed the front and back of the gadget. Its back will have 8 MP Camera with embedded dual LED flash and a speaker on the other side. This Android device will host a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, Android Honeycomb, a 4G LTE radio, and HTC Sense. Though the launch of this powerful device is not yet disclosed, we predict it to hit U.S. markets in summer with AT&T service.
Android application development is about to change in a better way after the release of Android OS 3.2. In its official blog, Google declared that it’s hoping to change the way Android app development happens. It is also about to release a new and simple SDK to implement complex features in its tablet applications. With the new release, Google will allow developers to specify exactly how they would like their app to appear on tablets and other Android devices of various sizes. Better applications will lead to increased market share for android making a dent into Apple’s iPad market share.
