In computing language, the term server is used to refer as a computer program running to serve the needs or requests of other programs used by the IT professionals i.e. various clients which may or may not be operating the same computer. The term server is also often generalized to describe a host that is deployed to execute one or more such programs, so as to make it easy for the professionals to perform better and make it an easy access to many programs, which would be needed in the execution of many jobs in a company.

A computer or series of computers, which link other computers or electronic devices together to serve the needs of the clients, is known as the server computer, in technical terms which mainly is used in software companies.
