To Make An Investment Or Get A Charter: Acquiring An Executive Jet

"There are a lot of men and women out there who are part of a major business and have a lot of important places they need to fly to all the time, and purchasing a private executive jet may seem like the best route for them to take. You could very well have a business appointment that you need to fly to practically every week or you could just want to be able to get away from it all whenever you have a little time off, or you could have some other good excuses for owning a jet for your personal use.
There are a handful of different ways that a person could actually go about obtaining a jet of their own, but since none of them are particularly affordable, you have a good bit of thinking to do before coming to a proper decision. Since there are so many factors to involve in your decision making process, like the cost of actually purchasing in comparison to renting, this could prove to be a fairly difficult choice.
Of course, you will most likely want to start with comparing the overall prices, and actual ownership can be incredibly expensive since it includes the cost of the jet itself on top of regular storage ...
... and maintenance fees. There are some people, however, that do fly so frequently that any other flight option beyond direct ownership would prove to be a major inconvenience to them. On the other hand, if you find that you don't fly quite so frequently, you could very well be better off just hiring charter jets to fly you where you need to be for only a little of the cost.
There is one option that is kind of a half way point for the latter two and it is known as fractional ownership, a way to own your own jet without having to actually afford the full price of it. In one of these partnerships, you and a bunch of other groups or individuals will pay for a certain amount of time each year in which you are allowed to use the jet, splitting the price and expenses up evenly among you and all other people who are involved.
If you come to the conclusion that ownership simply will not work for you and your price range, a charter service will certainly be your best bet. Either way you go, you will be able to travel aboard an executive jet that is all about making sure that you are comfortable and where you need to be when you need to be there. "
