Dark Circle Under Eyes Syndrome
If you are one of those unfortunate individuals who have dark circles under your eyes, you know how depressing it can be. Sometimes it seems that no matter what you do, nothing seems to help. Quite often, women resort to "camouflaging" by using high concealer. This may be something you can do as a last resort but there are some other things that you can do to help yourself.
Some Causes Of Dark Circles
Dark circles under the eyes of various causes. Quite often a simple lack of sleep will show up by those visible dark circles you get into the eyes. Getting at least seven hours of sleep at night will usually help. Allergies is another problem for many people. Quite often the dark circles would disappear once the allergy season has passed. For some people it could be a diet deficiency or a genetically inherited trait.

The area under the eye is also very delicate skin. It can easily become baggy and wrinkled as people age. Being in the sun a lot can cause a lot of problems for the skin and more so for this very delicate area. If you're a sun worshiper, try staying out of the sun for you is a very good sunblock or to prevent further damage to your skin. If you have to be in the sun, always use sunscreen with at least SPF 30 under your eyes and drink plenty of water.
Laser Treatment And Other Therapies
Some people resort to laser surgery to remove their under dark eye circles. Some of the newer laser technologies work very well in this area of thin delicate skin but choose your doctor wisely. Others resort to dermabrasion, facelifts or dermal fillers to get rid of theirs. Once again, because of the very delicate nature of the skin in this area under the eyes, make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing.
One important thing to keep in mind is that sometimes dark circles under the eyes can be a symptom of something else wrong in our system. In Chinese medicine, dark circles under the eyes is said to be related to the kidneys. The kidney in Chinese medicine is considered to be the foundation of our vitality. Traditional Chinese medicine says you need to eat kidney balancing foods and use certain Chinese herbs to help your condition.
